Epiphanies are fortunate occurrences. They can be striking events as important as birth/death of someone or as common as the everyday occurrence of a sunrise. They also are not necessarily joyful, delightful and happy occasions. They can happen through painful and heart-breaking events too.
The “event” in either of the cases is not the priority. The priority is the epiphany. The learning. The insight. The larger comprehension of the scheme of things. And how we choose to grow with them. How we choose to use the ‘event’ and the epiphany to look into ourselves, understand what lies there.
Very often, epiphanies are not even recognised. They pass us or are passed up by us, unfortunately. Especially the painful ones rejected due to the pain they hold. These instances and opportunities of learning are gifts to us from the Universe. They are triggers for us to reflect and make choices, perhaps act. Every one of them bring to us pieces of ourselves, giving us opportunities to put ourselves together, to complete the mosaic and see the emergence of patterns within.
Here’s to Epiphanies !!
